2026 YBPF Charity Partner | Common Ground Foundation
The Young Beef Producers’ Forum is proud to support Common Ground Foundation as our charity partner for 2026.
Based in Toowoomba, Common Ground Foundation provides low-cost, family-friendly accommodation for rural and regional patients who need to travel to Toowoomba to access medical care. To be eligible, patients must reside more than 50km from Toowoomba.
The Foundation currently has three two-bedroom units in Rangeville, conveniently located close to Toowoomba’s major hospitals and other essential services. The accommodation is available to patients receiving care or undergoing procedures at Toowoomba Hospital, St Vincent’s Private Hospital and St Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital.
For regional and rural families, travelling away from home for medical treatment can bring significant practical and financial challenges. Common Ground Foundation helps ease some of that pressure by providing an affordable and welcoming place to stay while accessing care.
Supporting Common Ground at YBPF
We’re delighted to be supporting Common Ground Foundation at this year’s Forum, with all proceeds from the auction at Thursday night’s Charity Cocktail Evening going directly to the Foundation.
We’ll also be privileged to be joined by Felicity Burton and Georgie Keats (pictured) on the night, who will share more about Common Ground Foundation and the important work it does for rural and regional communities.
We encourage everyone attending the Charity Cocktail Evening to get behind the auction and help us raise as much as possible for this fantastic cause.
